It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached appropriation ordinance reducing unallocated receipts and appropriations and increasing project appropriations in the Water and Sewer Capital Project 2018 Fund in the amount of $36,000.00 from available funds for the purpose of funding North Holly Water Treatment Plant Sedimentation Basin Sludge Removal System Replacement. (City Project No. C02328)

On November 7, 2017, Mayor and Council Communication (M&C C-28464), the City Council authorized the execution of an Engineering Agreement with Alan Plummer Associates, Inc., in the amount of $688,037.00 for the preparation of plans and specifications for the North Holly Water Treatment Plant Sedimentation basin Sludge Removal System Replacement project.

This project requires additional funding for project management and to cover costs associated with Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $16,005.00 for additional geotechnical services and structural services on the project.

This project will have no impact on Water Department's operating budget.

The project is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9.

This M&C does not request approval of a contract with a business entity.
