SJ Louis Construction of Texas, LTD requests the temporary closure of Riverlakes Drive from Trinity Boulevard to Trinity Vista Trail from July 15, 2018 – October 15, 2018 for construction of a segment of Phase 1 of the Walker-Calloway Branch Outfall Trunk Sewer System for the Trinity River Authority (TRA). Phases 1 of a total of 7 phases, consists of construction of 4,400-feet of 42 inches and 36 inches sanitary sewer line to replace existing lines. This closure is necessary as SJ Louis must coordinate Phase 1 to tie into an ongoing City of Fort Worth project along Trinity Boulevard to service this TRA project. This 620-feet segment and the temporary closure request is designed to allow the contractor to construct a 36-inch line and tie into existing lines under Riverlakes Drive between Trinity Boulevard and Trinity Vista Trail. This work will be accomplished using open trench construction methods and will not allow passage of through vehicle traffic. Access for local residents of Bowspirit Lane, and Bowspirit Circle as well as access to all local resident driveways will be maintained and accessible at all times. Trinity River Authority has confirmed that they coordinated with neighborhood services and reached out to the HOA's involved in this project. In addition, TRA staff has confirmed their confidence in the ability of the contractor to complete this work in the requested time. Traffic control plans for the project have been accepted. This project is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 5. This M&C does not request approval of a contract with a business entity. |
