Authorize Waiving Building and Trade Permit Fees Associated with All Building Renovation and Construction Services on Municipal Facilities Accomplished Under the Job Order Contract Authorized by Mayor and Council Communication C-28325 (ALL COUNCIL DISTRICTS)

It is recommended that the City Council authorize waiving Building and Trade Permit Fees associated with all building renovation and construction services on Municipal Facilities accomplished under the Job Order Contract authorized by the Mayor and Council Communication C-28325.

On August 15, 2017, (M&C C-28325), the City Council authorized the execution of Job Order Contract (JOC) Services contracts with Facilities and Design, Inc., The Mark IV Construction Group, LLC, Basic IDIQ, Inc., Lemco Construction Services, L.P., Lee Construction and Maintenance Company d/b/a LMC Corporation, SDB, Inc. d/b/a SDB Contracting Services, Inc., and Alpha Building Corporation, for fixed unit price, indefinite delivery of building renovation and construction services.

It is recommended that the City Council waive Building and Trade Permit Fees for all building renovation and construction services accomplished under this contract at city-owned or leased facilities in accordance with Chapter 7, Article III, Section 7-1, Section 109.2.1 of the City Code.

These projects will serve Fort Worth residents in ALL COUNCIL DISTRICTS.
