The Code Compliance Department' s Animal Care and Control Division, will use this amendment for spay/neuter surgeries for adopted and reclaimed animals on a supplemental basis.
Services provided by Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) will include but are not limited to spay/neuter surgery, recovery, discharge, follow up care, and any other tasks associated with spay/neuter procedures. Animals will be selected for surgery by City employees.
The City made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 47457 on January 28, 2016 with an initial term of six months. Amendment 1 extended the term for an additional twelve months expiring on July 28, 2017. This Amendment is for an additional twelve months with an expiration date of July 28, 2018 and total authorization under this contract will be $150,000.00.
Because this Agreement is only used on a supplemental basis, there has been no reduction in service since the expiration of the contract
