SUBJECT:   Authorize Dedication of an Easement to Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC, for Electrical Equipment and Appurtenances for a Total of 0.008 Acres of Land for Amon Carter Museum (COUNCIL DISTRICT 7)
RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the City Council:

1.  Authorize the dedication of an easement to Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC, for electrical equipment and appurtenances for a total of 0.008 acres of land for the Amon Carter Museum; and

2.  Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute and record all necessary documents to complete the conveyance.
 
DISCUSSION:

Oncor has requested an easement from the City of Fort Worth for a project that will tie in to an existing switchgear on the Amon Carter Museum lot off of Camp Bowie. In making this upgrade to the electrical line, a "loop" will be created that will enable Oncor to provide better service and reliability to the museum and also for facilities connected to the new research center project on the UNT campus across the road.
