The Reyes Group, Ltd., requests the temporary closure of Tehama Ridge Drive (South) at the intersection of Heritage Trace Parkway to expedite construction of a two lane roundabout as part of the Heritage Trace and Tehama Ridge Roundabout Project. This closure is requested from June 29, 2016 - August 31, 2016.
This project provides for the construction of a two-lane roundabout, sidewalks and storm drain improvements at the intersection of Heritage Trace Parkway and Tehama Ridge Parkway necessitated by traffic capacity limitations at the existing intersection.
The requested temporary closure for Tehama Ridge Parkway is projected to reduce the construction time by 10 weeks. Heritage Trace Parkway will remain open to thru traffic with one lane in each direction during construction.
The subdivision adjacent to Heritage Trace Parkway that utilizes Tehama Ridge Parkway has two other access points along Heritage Trace (Carrier Drive and Sills Way) and also can access Tehama Ridge Parkway from the south at Presidio Vista.
No driveways to residents or businesses are in the limits of the temporary closure.
Notification of residential property owners who will be affected by this project is planned.
Street closures in excess of 10 days require the approval of City Council. Transportation and Public Works Traffic Management has reviewed and concurs with this request.
This road closure is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 7, Mapsco 21S, 21T, 21W and 21X.
This M&C does not request approval of a contract with a business entity.
